Hola!! My name is Jess!! I am currently a Sophomore in High School and I just recently turned 16! I participate in volleyball and basketball and I love to read (what a nerd huh?) Also I love to laugh and just have a good time.

In My Pockets

• A Good Book
• I love to read so any chance I get I read so I need to have my book with me at all times, just in case.
  
• Money
• I have money in my pockets so that I can buy things like food or other items I may need. I also need money to pay for my lunch.
  
• Pencil
• I need a pencil in order to participate in my classes and pass them.
  
• Gum
• Sometimes you just need something to chew on and this stuff is delicious.
  
• Chap stick
  
• My lips get chapped really easy especially during the winter so it makes it nice when you've got this stuff on hand

Who Am I?

First theres a house,
empty and alone.
Along comes some kids
and now its a home.
The laughter and pounding
of small bare feet
fill its walls
with a joyful beat
Then along comes the sixth
a rough green eyed girl
followed by Annie
then Zachary Earl
she'd giggle and laugh
as she went through the day
working and riding
and raking the hay
when darkness would fall
and the stars came to play
out on the tramp
with her friends she would lay
looking up at the stars
that twinkled and shone
passing on knowledge
not many have known
the years have rolled on
and the kids have all grown
things are now different
but one thing is true
that home still has love
where they learned and they grew

My Weekend

Having a four-day weekend was absolutly amazing. On Friday I went up riding with my dad and grandpa to vaccinate the rest of the calves. It didn't take long and soon I was back at home. We then had to clean the house and eat lunch but afterward we got to go on an adventure....well sort of. We just went on a hike up this huge hill and played around a bit, but the view from up there was breath taking. We could see forever and everything was so small. When we got home we had a dance competition, but I was just a judge. it was my younger siblings and cousins who were dancing and boy were they entertaining.
On Saturday we just went in and watched the football game and they won!So now we're going to state but since East won we have to go all the way to Cheyenne for the game. after the game we just went home. On Sunday we just went to church then stayed home the rest if the time.
On Monday we went back to work. We had to go riding again to separate calves from their moms then hauling them all back home. Well that was basically how my weekend went.

Goals

There are many goals I want to accomplish during my life. One of my goals is to go to college for a couple of years to get myself a better education. I’d like to become a lawyer or pediatrician, but I mainly just want to get a degree. Another goal I have is to maybe go on a mission. Three of my brothers have gone and I’d like to follow them as soon as I’m old enough. My final most important dream is to become a mother. To me this is the most important accomplishment I could have in my life. Will be wonderful to have the love and respect of those innocent little children. I know that these little ones are very special and I love little children These are my dreams that I hope will one day become reality.

Free Time

There are many different activities I use to fill my free time. First of all, I love to read so every once in a while I’ll just sit down somewhere with a book and escape my life for a while. I just abandon all my worries and cares that usually plague my life. Another activity I use in my free time is playing sports with my family or friends. Football, basketball and volleyball are my favorites to play but we experiment with all different kinds of games. One last time filler for me is going on “adventures” with my family. Sometimes it’s a long walk in the evening listening to the frogs and crickets. Other times it will be drive to Dibble Rock where we explore the mountain and find hidden treasures and hide a ways. A lot of my free time is spent simply being with my family doing various activities together. Sometimes we’ll go for a walk while other times we play a sport or night games under the star speckled sky. These are just a few ways that I enjoy spending my free time doing.

My Personality

Everyone has his or her own unique personality. I’m a person who tries to be responsible and get along with all those around me. Disliking or hating others is most definitely something I don’t do. Even when I try to get angry with someone it usually doesn’t last long and I’ve got that huge grin pasted back on my face. Not only am I happy and responsible but I also have a sad side too. I can usually keep from crying but it’s still hard to keep those tears in on occasion. This is my marvelous personality.
