There was little risk involved in having a Cunningham on the jury because as Atticus told Jem they have never taken anything off anybody. Another thing he said was that once you earn their respect they are always there for you no matter what. Even though the Cunningham's were part of the mob at the jail, Atticus also stated there was no difference between two people who were going to convict.
I think it is ok to have a Cunningham on the jury because of how Scout talked to one of them the night at the jail. Scout made them see a different side of things.
yeah ciara I think say that once you've earned their respect that they will always respect you and Scout sure earned their respect that night by the jail.
It was risky because they were ready to kill Tom while he was in jail. Why not convict him now? I think that since Atticus gained the Cunningham's respect on that night that he would be less likely to convict Tom, for he thought he owed Atticus.

I really dont think that the Cunninghams care what the race is so maybe the jury will actually start listening to the actual case

Atticus says there is no risk because he knows that Tom is going to be convicted so it wouldn't make any difference on who was on there
